Corcovado hiking tour - La Tarde - Los Patos - Sirena - La Leona


There are several ways to combine walking routes in Corcovado. Our expedition departing from La Tarde is a variant of the classic tour that departs from Puerto Jiménez. We start this expedition in the idyllic place called La Tarde, near Los Patos Station, in the interior of the Peninsula. The next day, the famous tour will begin crossing the entire national park until you reach Sirena, where you will spend the night, and on the third day, departure along the coast to La Leona - Carate (6 - 7 hours)


La Tarde

DAY 1: Departure from Puerto Jiménez towards La Tarde, near the entrance of Los Patos, Corcovado. Lodging and free time to explore several trails of the private reserve in the afternoon, both during the day and at night. Lodging.


Sirena

DAY 2: Departure to cross the Corcovado National Park on a long walk of approximately 9 hours. Arrival in the afternoon hours to Sirena. Sirena is the most remote and untouched biological station in the park, and has several secondary trails to be explored. Accomodation in Sirena.


Sirena -  La Leona

DAY 3: Departure in the morning to start a new hike this time by the sea and in the coastal forest until you reach La Leona, in Carate de Osa.
