Where is it ?
Sirena Ranger Station is the park ranger station that is more remote than any other. It is located in the heart of Corcovado, literally in the middle of the National Park, on the ocean. It is also known for being the best place to see wildlife species, including Tapirs, jaguars, Birds, and all three species of monkeys. It is highly regarded as the most bio diverse ranger station in the country.
Getting there ?
There are three ways to get to Sirena. The first is by boat from Drake Bay, in a 1 hour boat trip. Another option is to cross the entire national park from the Los Patos ranger station on a 10 to 12 hour walk. The third option is to hike from the station of La Leona along the coast in a walk of 7 to 8 hours.
