The Corcovado National Park is located in the Osa Peninsula, in the South Pacific of Costa Rica. The best place to full explore it is staying in a lodge near Drake Bay, the Northern Part of the Park. You can explore and discover Drake Bay, Sierpe River, San Pedrillo, Sirena Ranger Station and the Caño Island, as well as hiking South the coastal jungle trail to the pristine and amazing Rio Claro River Mouth.
Although a visit to Corcovado and the Osa Peninsula will take several days away, from 3 to 5, ( SEE Tour Packages ) if you are interested in nature, alongside with Tortuguero there probably are no better regions in Costa Rica for that.
