Corcovado Costa Rica

Corcovado National Park
Nature

The Corcovado National Park is located in the Osa Peninsula, in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica. It is one of the largest and oldest national parks in Costa Rica, protecting the largest portion of tropical lowland rainforest in the country. Its buffer zones and the park territory protect almost the entire Osa Peninsula.

Tropical Raindforest and Ocean
Amazing National Park

Although it takes 3 days minimum to explore ( most people agree it is worth 4 days and 3 nights ) and while it might also take you away from the tourist route that includes other destinations in the country, we highly suggest it to people interested in raw adventure, nature unmatched, amazing scenery and all those who wish to experience a tropical jungle experience.

Bio Diverse Corcovado National Park

There are four park ranger entrances, and each of them is different. Three are located along the coast, while one is located in the heart of the Osa Peninsula. Hundreds of kilometers of trails cross the park, although only 4 are open to the public, plus some extra shorter trails that belong to each station. One of the highlights is the Jaguars, the Tapirs, 4 species of monkeys and unique species of birds that reside in the park. Watching sharks and crocodiles swim next to each other is also perhaps only possible in Corcovado.

Tours
Tours to Corcovado

The trips that visit the park are as abundant as they are different. There is the tour to San Pedrillo, the tour to Sirena, the tours that departs from La Leona and the tours that are operated out os Los Patos Ranger Station. The Classic hike from Los Patos to Sirena and after from Sirena to La Leona is perhaps the ultimate hiking nature trip in Costa Rica.

Nature Trips
Tour Packages

Our tour packages include the guided tour inside the national park in a day trip plus the guided tour to Caño Island, also protected. The Caño Island is one of the best snorkeling destinations in Costa Rica, and together with the hike inside the park, creates a perfect nature experience.
