Caño Island Day Trip from Uvita

The Snorkeling Tour to Isla del Caño is a tour that will take you to one of the best dive sites in Costa Rica. Isla del Caño is located off the coast of the northern part of the Osa Peninsula, and is protected by law as a national park.

Caño Island

The tour departs at 07:30 AM by boat in the direction of the Island. Customers must arrive at the offices in Uvita, or in case of not having a car, they can be provided with transportation. Once on the island, the snorkeling session begins. You can, with luck, have excellent visibility and you can see from eels, many species of colorful fish, to sharks, rays and sea turtles. The island also offers a beautiful panorama, with its green tropical forests that cover it in its entirety. The diving session lasts approximately 2.5 hours. It includes snorkeling equipment as well as local guide and snacks.

Day Trip

Once the tour is finished we will proceed to our lunch place. It can be in the surroundings of the Island, or it can also be in some beach in San Josecito, or Violin Island. The return to Uvita is scheduled for 3:30 PM. No experience is required to complete the tour.
